Anja Linder is an internationally renowned French harpist whom the general public discovered on September 8, 2024, during the closing ceremony of the Paralympic Games. On the stage of the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Ch\u00e2telet, she notably performed Alphonse Hasselmans’ La Source with an electro-pneumatic harp, an instrument over 100 years old adapted to her disability. <\/p>\n\n

The Anjamatique allows the soloist, who is now in a wheelchair, to operate a system with her mouth that replaces the seven pedals she used to play the harp before her accident. In 2001, at the age of 26, Anja Linder lost the use of her legs after a plane tree fell during a concert she was attending in Strasbourg. As the next guest of Exquis, the musician will share with us her attachment to fashion, her clothing references, the importance of style when performing on stage, and the major moments of her musical career. <\/p>\n\n

\u201cExquisite\u201d is a series of encounters around fashion and clothing, based on the theory of six degrees of separation and the exquisite corpse. The rules of the Exquis game are simple and fun: the first guest sheds light on the topic from their perspective. It links clothing to cinema, contemporary art, literature, music, gastronomy, and architecture. At the end of the conversation, they introduce the second person, who will in turn enrich the topic with their own vision. And so on.<\/p>\n\n

Thus, a multi-faceted conversation unfolds, evolving with each encounter. It surprises and builds connections, complements or diverges, ultimately illuminating the theme through six carefully chosen perspectives.
