Exquis by Marie Ottavi – Elodie Frégé

Elodie Frégé is a singer-songwriter and performer, now highly focused on her acting career. The general public discovered her in 2003 on Star Academy, where she won the third season. Since then, she has worked with Benjamin Biolay (Le jeu des sept erreurs) and Marc Collin (Amuse-Bouches), with whom she also collaborated within the group Nouvelle Vague for ten years. Elodie has shot three music videos with director Catherine Breillat and took her first steps in cinema in François Ozon’s Potiche. In theater, she was seen acting alongside Jean-Pierre Darroussin in “Le Principe d’incertitude”. She returned to the stage last year with Anne Parillaud in “Je ne serais pas arrivée là si…”, a play adapted from the chronicles of Annick Cojean. Elodie Frégé has just finished filming a police TV movie for France 3, where she plays the main female character alongside Jean-Pierre Darroussin, Nicolas Briançon, and Aurélien Wiik.

Together, we will revisit her journey, her first sartorial awakenings, the construction of her stage and backstage appearance, and the therapeutic virtues of fashion.

“Exquisite” is a series of encounters around fashion and clothing, based on the theory of six degrees of separation and the exquisite corpse. The rules of the Exquis game are simple and fun: the first guest sheds light on the topic from their perspective. It links clothing to cinema, contemporary art, literature, music, gastronomy, and architecture. At the end of the conversation, they introduce the second person, who will in turn enrich the topic with their own vision. And so on.
