Special Editions by Luca Marchetti – Ramy Fischler
For the first edition of Special Editions in 2025, Luca Marchetti welcomes Belgian designer Ramy Fischler.
With RF Studio, he has created international projects such as the headquarters of Twitter France, the café at the National Gallery in London, the Refettorio Madeleine (conceived by three-Michelin-starred chef Massimo Bottura) in collaboration with artist JR and Encore Heureux Architectes, the terraces of the Champs-Élysées, and the CRAVAN in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. A laureate of the Villa Médicis in 2010, he initiated a dynamic and hybrid exploration at the intersection of history, space, and furniture, which has resulted in several exhibitions between France and Italy, as well as modular furniture pieces that will be central to this event.

Special Editions is a series of events dedicated to objects and books. At the intersection of design and publishing, Special Editions questions the status of works and objects that occupy a special place in the lives of creatives, authors.
Is there a story behind the object? What is the personal narrative, the emotion, the feeling behind the words, the lines, the forms? What does the book say about its author? What does the object say about the person who created it? And what, in turn, do the creator say about their object and the author about their book? What else do they say about those who collect them, appreciate them?
To find out, Luca Marchetti proposes through Special Editions a series of meetings for those who love slow time and intimate correspondences. The object is at the service of meaning in a conversation of another kind, at once escape, experience, entertainment and communion.
