CRAVAN invites Chef Romain Meder to take the reins of its kitchens from December 11th to 14th, 2024.

Conceived by Franck Audoux and designed by Ramy Fischler, CRAVAN has established itself in the heart of the historic and cultural district of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, spanning four levels dedicated to cocktails, gastronomy, the art of living, and literature. A must-visit destination for exchange where trends and references intertwine, the venue hosts a series of events, gatherings, and signings throughout the season, during which fashion, film, and design explore the world of gastronomy.

Romain Meder will thus infuse his passion for raw materials and plants during a four-day residency, which is part of the extraordinary artistic framework of CRAVAN.

An unprecedented culinary experience from the chef, in the heart of the Parisian scene, awaits discovery across the venue’s three floors: a menu of small plates to enjoy in the various bar areas and the Rizzoli NY bookstore space, and a dinner available by reservation only in the intimate setting of the third floor. During these exclusive dinners, Chef Romain Meder’s expertise will be showcased through a unique menu, created exclusively for CRAVAN 75006, perfectly aligned with the venue, his inspirations, and his vision.

An invitation not to be missed, born from CRAVAN’s desire to offer a unique panorama of current French gastronomy, and from the friendship punctuated by collaborations that Franck Audoux and Romain Meder have shared for several years.

Food/cocktail pairing: €165/person

A €50 deposit per person is required for this dinner, with the balance to be paid on site.

About the chef Romain Meder

Romain Meder began his career working alongside Michelin-starred Chef Hélène Darroze. He then joined the prestigious Potel et Chabot before moving on to work with Alain Ducasse. In 2014, he became the Executive Chef at the Plaza Athénée, where he developed the culinary approach of Naturalité, focusing on a trio of vegetables, grains, and sustainably sourced seafood. Two years later, the Michelin Guide awarded the establishment three stars. From 2023 to 2024, Romain Meder has been the new Executive Chef at the Domaine de Primard.
