Exquis - Catherine Millet
19h- 20h
Paris 75006
Catherine Millet is the editor-in-chief of Art Press, which she co-founded in 1972. She is the author of numerous works, including monographs (Yves Klein, Salvador Dalí) and essays on contemporary art, as well as autobiographical accounts such as The Sexual Life of Catherine M., which gained worldwide acclaim and has been translated into about forty languages.
Catherine Millet has accepted Albert Serra's invitation to be the next guest of Exquis. The meeting, the second in the series initiated by Marie Ottavi, will blend intimate narrative with reflections on the impact of clothing in literature and its intrusion into the field of art.

"Exquis" is a series of encounters centered around fashion and clothing, based on the theory of six degrees of separation and the exquisite corpse game. The rules are simple and playful: a first guest comes to shed light on the theme from their perspective. They connect clothing to cinema, contemporary art, literature, gastronomy, or architecture. At the end of the conversation, they introduce the second person, who will in turn enrich the theme with their vision. This second person leads us to the third, who introduces the fourth, and so on.
Thus, through the rhythm of these encounters, a multi-faceted conversation unfolds, bouncing and surprising, complementing or diverging, ultimately illuminating the theme through six chosen perspectives. Different worldviews blend during this exploration to which Marie Ottavi invites us.
