For the first Special Editions of the season, Luca Marchetti welcomes Sarah Andelman, a leading figure on the Parisian and international pop-cultural scene. Best known for founding, together with her mother, the legendary Parisian concept store Colette, she pioneered a new way of experiencing fashion, design, art, and music.

After twenty years at the helm of this groundbreaking space—where disciplines intersected and the avant-garde found its stage—Sarah Andelman continued her explorations with Just an Idea, a creative consulting agency and independent publishing house.

The project centers on a collection of limited-edition books designed with graphic designer and art director Yorgo Tloupas. Printed in France in runs of 400 copies, these volumes spotlight a creator, a world, or a unique perspective, forming a constellation of talents such as Sho Shibuya, Nicole McLaughlin, Douglas Coupland, and Sean Wotherspoon.

In a landscape saturated with screens, these editorial objects reaffirm the power of paper as a medium of collection, transmission, and desire, tracing a line that is as rigorous as it is joyful between commerce, culture, and imagination.

Special Editions is a series of events dedicated to objects and books. At the intersection of design and publishing, Special Editions questions the status of works and objects that occupy a special place in the lives of creatives, authors.

Is there a story behind the object? What is the personal narrative, the emotion, the feeling behind the words, the lines, the forms? What does the book say about its author? What does the object say about the person who created it? And what, in turn, do the creator say about their object and the author about their book? What else do they say about those who collect them, appreciate them? To find out, Luca Marchetti proposes through Special Editions a series of meetings for those who love slow time and intimate correspondences. The object is at the service of meaning in a conversation of another kind, at once escape, experience, entertainment and communion.
